  • Lions Baseball PHS Lions Regional Quarterfinal Playoffs
    The Ponder Lions will face the Gunter Tigers in a best of three game series in the area round of the playoffs. All games will be played at Krum High School. Ticket prices are $5 for adults and $3 for students.  Come out and cheer on the Lions to victory!

  • Ponder Frontier Day
    The annual community event known as Frontier Day will be held Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19.  Proceeds from this annual event benefit the Ponder Volunteer Fire Department.  This year's festivities include:
    • Street Dance
    • Cook-Off
    • 5k and Fun Run
    • Parade
    • Car Show
    • Arts and Crafts Vendors
    • Game Booths
    • Refreshment Booths
    • Gun Raffle
    • BBQ Dinner

  • Ponder Elementary Field Day 2012 - Volunteer Information

    Field Day Workers
    If you would like to sign up to be a volunteer worker for Field Day on Friday, May 25, 2012 please contact Erica Puckett at 940-479-8377 or Jode Wells at 940-479-8306.  All volunteers must complete a background check in advance in order to help on field day. Background checks forms are at the elementary office. 

    Needed Items
    In addition, the following items are also needed for the event to be a success.  You can start bringing them at any time...just make sure your name is clearly marked on them.

    • Generators (If you have one we can borrow please let us know ASAP)
    • Cases of Water
    • Ice Chests
    • Wagons
    • Canopies

    It looks like it will be hot on field day this year the way the weather has been so these items as well as time from volunteers will help tremendously.  Thank you in advance for your generosity!!
