The 2012-13 and 2013-2014 athletic realignments have been released.  Ponder ISD will compete in the following districts for athletic competitions the next two school years.

 

 

All three school campuses now have brightly-colored green and yellow bins for collecting paper products to be recylced.  Each campus will recieve money every time their bin is filled.  The community is encouraged to bring qualified paper products from home and deposit them in our bins.  Paper products NOT accepted are corrugated cardboard, the covers of hardback books, and food-soiled items.

Website visitors can subscribe to receive emergency notifications via email and text message.  Subscribing to these emergency e-alerts would only send subscribers information such as school closings, school delays, or other high priority content.  The District encourages all parents and employees to register on the website and subscribe to emergency e-alerts so they will be among the first to know important information, especially when weather threatens.  Read the following document for instructions on how to register and subscribe to both emergency e-alerts and content e-alerts:

 

txConnect Allows Parents Access to Student Information
For those unfamiliar with txConnect, this web site is a portal that allows parents the opportunity to view student grades and attendance via the Internet.  Parents who have already setup a txConnect account in previous years should not have to do anything unless they choose to modify their alert preferences.  Parents who do not already have an account or who need to add children to their existing account must obtain a parent portal letter from their child's school with the student's parent portal ID number.  This is an alpha-numeric code specific to txConnect and is not the child's student ID number.  Click here to access txConnect or for additional information.
